18th Century Mughal Enamel Ring mid-century with 15ct gold band andAn exquisite Mughal ring made in northern India during the 18th century, circa 1760. The head is set with four coloured gemstones: a pink tourmaline, pink foiled rock crystal, and two pear shaped white topaz. The shoulders, gallery to the sides of the stones, and the back of the head feature brightly coloured enamel work incorporating red flowers, greens, blues, and black and white polkadots all wonderfully complementing the rich, 22 carat gold.
